Donate Food, Medical and Household Supplies

We are always seeking medical and food supplies that we send to those in need, both in the USA (including regular deliveries to Appalachia) and worldwide.  Check our list below for types of products that we are always accepting.

Please send an email to info@medicalmissionaries.org or call our office at 703-335-1800  before dropping off donations or if you have any questions.

Your donations are being given a new life and an opportunity to hep those in need.   Please review your donations to verify that your donations have not expired, are not dirty, are not damaged, etc. 

Please call ahead to ask if you are unsure and so that there is someone at the office to help you unload.   Please sort through the donations before dropping them off.

We are especially in need of:

  • Non-perishable food items
    • Canned goods
      • Meat (chicken, corned beef, etc) 
      • Fish (tuna, salmon, etc) 
      • Stew
      • Chili
      • Soup
      • Fruit
      • Vegetables
    • Peanut butter
    • Cereal
    • Rice
    • Pasta
    • Grain products
    • Powdered milk
    • Cooking Oil
  • Hygiene items
    • Soap
    • Toothbrushes
    • Toothpaste
    • Washcloths
    • Shampoo
    • Deoderant
  • Infant/baby items
    • Wipes
    • Baby food
    • Clothing
    • Toys
    • Formula
    • Diaper
  • New school supplies and backpacks

We also need:

  • Over the counter medicines – Unopened over-the-counter drugs with at least a 6-month expiration
    date
  • Medical equipment – new or gently used and in working condition – such as crutches, walkers, shower chairs, commodes, hospital beds and hospital mattresses
  • Medical Supplies – most medical supplies that are in unopened packages are accepted.  Please contact the office for details.
    • Check below for exceptions.
  • Medical office equipment – such as exam tables, lights, file cabinets, etc.
  • Clothing and shoes – we accept baby and children clothing that is new or in very good condition.
  • Household supplies – Pots and pans, plastic dishes and eating
    utensils that are new or gently used (please no glass or electrical items)
  • Toys – New; no batteries please.
  • Sporting goods – New or gently used
  • Linens – including lightweight blankets, sheets and towels new or gently used and
    clean

 

Not accepting at this time:

  • CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) and related supplies
  • Trach or ventilator supplies
  • Tube feeding bags and syringes
  • Colostomy supplies
  • Prescription drugs
  • Prescription bottles.
  • Opened packages of diapers/pads
  • Electric Hoya lifts
  • Battery or powered scooters or wheelchairs
  • Household knick knacks pictures, frames, electrical appliances
  • Glassware or breakable items
  • Pillows, stuffed animals except hospital pillows
  • Books
  • Clothes

Donations of medical supplies and equipment are much appreciated.

If you live in the Manassas VA area, items can be brought to our office at 9590 Surveyor Ct., Manassas, VA 20110. The office is open every day till 12 noon.  Please call the office before dropping off any items in our covered truck outside.   Donation forms are in the green mailbox in front of the office.
